i think you accidently set it off-kilter. change the scroll setting to: "down and up", instead of "that way and this way"....
and loose the heavy typesetting on the copy. and the 60% black on black fr the same text. if it's gonna be reversed-out, don't make their eyes hurt.

photography link not working. Nice work, I would also like to see it a bit bigger...
- antoine_1010
i wasnt sure if bigger was better, as then when you go to an interview, people have seen it all before, so i thought it might be a good idea to show it at a smaller size to create interest...?

I like it, generally.
Some thoughts you might wish to consider..
- intro copy isn't beautiful, at all - low size bold arial looks duff, imo and it definitely jars with the graphic text you use on the right hand side. I'd consider trying html text on right side.
- as it's horizontal scrolling, it'd be nice if it all sat well, vertically in my screen. looks a bit odd, having a gulf of space at the bottom, but not at the top.
- i'd expect to be able to click on work sections and be taken to a new page, iwth bigger graphics and a project breakdwon.
-i'd consider intra-page navigation - have a list within the intro text that can be clicked and will scroll you directly to that section on the right.
Good luck!

I don't like:
"I love graphic design and feel very fortunate to have found a profession I enjoy that does not feel like “work”."
Makes you sound like a student.

i think you could make your introduction fit a 1024x768 browser window, just to be safe.
and since it is going to disappear, you could make another page with your work - just to give it a more browser experience. i don't know if this makes any sense to you, or to anybody else in fact, but since you will have another page i think it would be more of a site with the print work with the same logic.

You need to group like-sized elements together instead of it going something like:
------ ------- ----- -------
------- ------ --- ------ ------Get what I'm saying?
Work on more of a grid-structure to it. For instance, having the Manyana Beach design report right under the Ryde Residential design report. This way it can be like:
--- ------- -------
--- ------- -------
It'll look a lot cleaner and more professional that way, You have the grid structure down in yor print pieces, so why not reflect the same in your web portfolio?Pride and Lust can go next to the Art is the triumph/the world to... pieces, which can go next to the amex signage (vertically aligned).
Also like others have said, a clickable link to larger versions of the images may be a good idea as well.
Hope that helps.

i like it too but agree with phatlee about the "i love" bit, and with regards to the scroll, i quite like it even though it has been considered risky by some, only thing i would possibly add would be tiny bit of one colour, personally i think the grey and black works very well but could be complimented by maybe ornage but very minimally
- jaylarson0
you have some great work! clean up your page so your work really shines.
lighten the grey from 60%-ish to 30%-ish
get rid of the bold text. it is muddy.
make more grid like and keep like shapes with like shapes as mentioned above (i see you are trying to keep work together, but you could also make montages of each assignment as a large clickable image that could link to another page where they are individual and larger)
i look forward to seeing the next version!

Nice clean site. I really like it's simplicity.
I'd love to see your work bigger though and in a straight line. When I scroll through your work my eye is moving all over the place. I'd rather see it more standardized with a bit of info about the project below it. Some nice pieces are just too small. I'd make them all bigger and line them up from the top L to R.
Nice stuff!
- kelpie0
I likd it, I'd agree with most of the above, except that I quite liked the un-gridlike stuff, with a bit more work it could be really good and make the display look more like you've arranged everything out on a huge table, if that makes any sense.
for me it really falls apart when you reach the logos section, it looks tacked on at the end as an afterthought, I'd work on these...
- JerseyRaindog0
You have some nice looking work though the layout is too busy. Have a look at http://www.bibliothequedesign.co… for another landscape scrolling site.
- mpfree0
I'd run the portfolio vertically if I were you, not sideways
- komkrktprod0
just bigger work...
if u like the horizontal scroll keep it.
- antoine_1010
thx for all the comments, much appreciated.
dont know why my text is in bold as i just specified sans-serif in dreamweaver, will look into it.
as for the grid-like structure, i actually wanted to look a bit messy like I laid it out on a table, as most of my work is pretty neat structured, wanted this just to do something a bit diff.

.there's a few open tags, like class6.
it's easier to work with "span class=etc" and close it "/"span) to see where they start and where they end.

to see = to see exactly
