  so is this the printer to get?
  not really for photographic quality, but for poster/illustration/colorful stuff.

  if not this printer, then what do you recommend? large format would be nice too.

  i am lazy and didn't even click your link, but i have an epson 1280 and have always hated it, but am too poor to buy another. my next printer will def be a cannon.

  i used to own epson. they are a real pile (at least from my experiences) my last one died in 6 months!

  the canon is going strong...and uses less ink.
