Fedex has a load of new commercials that make me happy...
... click 'half pipe'...it's one my personal favorites... but there is plenty more here too. :)

i don't think they are that funny. sorry. :/
different sense of humor per country i guess..
or maybe i jsut don't get them.

i said they make me happy... I don't think they're hilarious really...
... some of them actually suck..
... but the halfpipe one and the caveman one make me.. 'happy'... as I said before.

(Oct 7 06, 16:56)i so saw that coming. why does a different sense of humor have to be related to intelligence?
i liked the halfpipe one btw. but not in the sense of -haha hilarious!-, the first one was utter crap imho though..
- PonyBoy0
well.. if you don't like it... you don't like it...
...but what's it got to do with the country your in?
Everyone here is on board with the ORLY baby... etc. etc...
meaning... It's just personal taste... has nothing to do with the country your from... nahmean?
humour doesn't have borders IMHO... only your mind does.
... :)
- PonyBoy0
and I should have put a smiley after my 'dumb american' comment cuz I in NO WAY meant it in an 'intelligence' sort of way...
... just being silly. :)

it clearly does have borders in the commercial/broadcasting sense. brazilian commercials have far different sorts of humor then dutch commercials or belgian ones (the latter i consider to be my faves as the humor is often a bit more surprising or original)..
in the sense of the mind, or internet, yeah, i can see your point.
but we are a community with our own borders. outside the internets tubez there's a whole world that don't get our top joke banana sort of humor!
i even experienced that a lot of times when i told internet-esque sort of jokes and sometimes people would just frown or gimme that "are you sick/ out of your mind?" sort of look, haha..

tis ok. ):|

---Everytime you post... //I think that exact thing.
:)
As far as 'marketing borders'... well yeah... there are definite 'borders' - in the states you won't find a lick of nudity on the tube (unless you pay extra for the service)... and MOST DEFINETLY will not see nudity in a commercial...
... so yes.. there are heavy differences from country to country as far as what's 'acceptable'... which I suppose would also dull one's sense of humour, or one's sense of violence etc etc...
... but come on!!!!! who doesn't want a half pipe in the office?!! :)
- PonyBoy0
shit... my last post made it sound like you have a dull sense of humour, janne...
... someone just delete my shit pl3ase. :)

i liked the halfpipe one.
kinda taking the piss out of companies that get in 'cool' things to keep the employees happy.
i used to work at a place in glasgow that had a fussball table, playstation and snes.
would have enjoyed work more if there was a half pipe to skate at lunchtimes :)
