I got into Flash in 2000, Flash 4 at that time. It was so easy to learn back then. Had tons of time during college to do so. Became a Flash and Design forum moderator on Flashkit that summer, used to spend hours critiquing sites and learning from people and all that.
Oh to have spare time again...

PacoTaco-
what's the new company called and what's your url?
- PacoTaco0
Gabo and I actually work together now. He's alive and well :). I left Who's We Studios a while back and we are now on the East coast (Philly area). Our company is now hiring senior designers and good flash folk. Hit me up if you're looking for a new job.

I think i had my demo of of Flash 3 up and running shortly after seeing the GaboCorp site. So good.
Since it wasn't on the list I went with NRG.
Tell targets and timelines... the good ol days.

I eventually picked Matinee... I remember first seeing NRG and it looked really cool and all, but I could somehow relate to how it was done... When I saw the Matinee site for the first time using 3D, that lensflare etc... and it scaled in flash I had no idea how they did that...

Is 1998 gabocorp still online anyway?
- pascii0
it's a shame, gabocorp is missing!
- witch0
Not to mention Egomedia
- netbanshee0
Gabocorp certainly was the first and the most influential at the time. It started making flash a possibility.
Vir2l and Dennis Interactive were follow-ups.
Hopefully my old spot lucidcircus makes the cut in 2000-01. V2 was way ahead of it's time...
