While they had NRG there-- and, of course, 2a V3... where were?
http://www.eccentris.com
http://www.requiemforadream.comand-- of course-- method's original gucci.com
while I love the AJAX new version... at the time it was a clean demonstration of how Flash could dessiminate info with little attention to itself...
Lots of the sites shortlisted were aided greatly by emerging 3d technologies of the times.

nanolabs.net , so many ... !

Yeah 2A v3 was good and all that but MONO*crafts is just amazing.
That site should win.
- numero10
Yeah 2A

Yeah, I can't believe Farney's didn't win. That's just wrong.
I can't think of a single design element that has lasted so long (not to mention still looks good).
2A gets my vote out of those. I just loved v3 (haven't cared for much since then, but way back then it stood out)

OK:
can't vote for 2a, vodafone says I don't have flash 6, gabocorp is just..., leo burnett is cool but how influential?
oh what to do?
- kezza_20
I have to say I think it's all a bit disappointing. The sites they shortlisted are poor/narrow in some instances. 2006 especially, what about the GTI campaigns
Some of the ones that won were technically good but esthetically poor.

it's not a full flash website, but http://www.nobodyhere.com/justme… is my all time favourite since 1999 when it comes to surprising wonderful astonishing use of flash.

I loved egomedia. I think I interviewed with them in 99. Vir2l was the best motion graphics on the web circa 99-00. I think most of that was quicktime based though.
