    Hello.

I have to create a Flash sequence which includes images fading in & out as well as some basic text. The sequence will be displayed on a screen using a digital projector.

I have a couple of questions about the output if anyone could shed some light...

    1. When using images in Flash, should I output them as web-ready jpegs, i.e. at 72 dpi?

    2. Will the resolution decrease much through the projector because it is being blown up? If so, is there a way to counteract this?

    3. What dimensions should the movie be for full screen?

    Thanks.

I guess you've never used a project before?

    1. Is this for the web? No? Then don't worry about web-ready. And EVERYTHING in flash is 72dpi. This is not print. It is all going to be 72dpi.

    2. Resolution is going to be dependent on the projector. Find resolution in pixels.

    3. You design for the resolution the monitor/projector is set for. if it's 800x600, you design at 800x600 for fullscreen. If its 1024x768, you design at 1024x768.

you should still make a consideration to size of your jpegs

load your jpegs and don't embed them in your FLA.

SWF, and too many people don't know this, stands for Small Web Format NOT ShockwaveFlash.
Therefore always go for "web ready" but avoid progressive jpegs.
