I like #4 as a general logo and agree with the other comments.
Look at something like the Coldwell Banker logo (too bodl, imho, but it is solid if nothing else).
I would think you would aim for #1 confidence #2 style (I'll assume they are selling old stuff).
The weathered look makes you think old building, but does not instill any confidence in buying that old building.

i agree about the building they have, it's just a row of brownstones, but im finding it hard to replace it with something.
the type has to be same, they want it to be the same and as close to the original as possible. and yeah, ill admit there's not much stylistic difference between any of those really, im hittin' a wall here with these guys.
