we are staying at the commodore but also got a car so pretty much willing to go anywhere.
thanks in advance all!

go eat at Lefty O'Douls on Geary. Cheap, great eats. It's OLD school (can you find Fred Mertz from "I love Lucy" on the wall? He's there.)
You might think it is too old skool, but trust me...the old peeps are slinging drinks way past the time the hipsters have gone to sleep. The last of the great SF hood bars and eateries.

If its nice and sunny out, go to the Marin Headlands. You'll get a nice drive across the golden gate bridge where you can stop for some unbelievable photo ops as well.
There's this place in the Marin headlands where they have old WWII battleforts. The view is amazing too. Visiting that place was one of the most fun times i've had in the last year or 2. Here are some pics. (Not from the day i was there, but another time when my brother went back to do some kite aerial photography).

ZEITGEIST
- redrum000
ZEITGEIST is a must, very sweet ass biker bar. Large outside eat/smoke (whatever) area.
SUNSET. It's great from the beach, but if there are no clouds in the sky you should go over the Golden Gate bridge, turn around asap and take the last right you can before you go back over the bridge. You can go up on the hills and catch a really amazing sunset. The city on one side, then the bridge, the the endless ocean on your right. You could almost unwiillingly slip into meditation up there ;)
FOOD. The Thirsty Bear is a great spanish place. There are good resuarants on almost every street in SF.
The GEARY BAR would be a great place to drop into at night. The place has old regulars, it's like it's lost in time. Good place to take photos, just pretend you're taking photos of eachother.
Have fun, need any help or have any q's -
Have fun, lata.
oh, and Margot Chase lecture on Thurs night. If you're into learning on your time off it should be interesting.

Hit up "Park Chow" for some brunch at Inner Sunset and take a stroll through Golden Gate Park.
