i once wanted to zoom in on a printed map..
i should get away from this computer for a while hehe

I was cutting down paper, and when I realized I measured wrong, I tried to ctrl-Z.

reading through a magazine article, i wanted to do a command f and find what i was looking for

after getting dvr in the house and having a tuner card on the other comp, i can't really pay attention to a tv anymore
knowing i have a rewind option for when my ears perk up is about all i need
this, however, sucks everywhere else i go, including the movie theatre
i've been known to say "hey rewind that" more than once in public

i also become despondent when items purchased over the internet are not downloadable, such as books, shoes, shirts, etc
why can't everyting be like music, fonts, and software?
buy now get now is great.
buying stock image/sound cds are the worst, could've been downloaded but i have to wait a week for the cd in the mail
grr

God, I've had the "Ctrl-Z!!" moment in life so many times over the years.
I bring back quite a lot of the feeling from games like Unreal Tournament into the real world.
If I've had a whole day there, when go out at night, I keep wanting to zoom in and take out pedestrians, jump off walls and pull out ground to air missiles to take out helicpters flying over head.
They're only momentary fleets of imagination - but they are there and they are very real.

When drawing by hand, my brain often says 'command z' when I have to erase.

I always want to backspace when I'm writing essays for school. I've gotten to so used to typing and doing things quickly that I'm not as precise with my spelling anymore, and therefore have to use my whiteout every sentence I write. Bringing a laptop to class is useful every once in a while but isn't very practical to carry around all the time.

the more i communicate over the 'net, the more fractured and fragmented my writing becomes - sadly (and as a bit of a stoner), this comes into the real world too - though it's messier to Ctrl-shit-backarrow repeatedly and re-type when you're actually talking to someone.
For the future - I'd quite like Google as part of my brain..

(Apr 29 06, 10:16)Good idea. I'm sure if you emailed them about it, they would start working on some chips.

sometimes i actually hear myself say "/me" when referring to something i'm about to do or when i get annoyed
example:
while playing xbox someone will gets the dogs riled up and I will pres pause saying "/me is gonna knock you out"i think i use the /me as a mental deterrent to the people around me as none of them have any idea what it means

I say "lol" in my head when i hear something funny. It'll come out verbally someday, then i'll be laughed at out loud...
- skelly0
I've actually heard "lol" before. It makes me want to punch babies.
I've done that too, where you press the space bar and try to drag the webpage to scroll.
- Jnr_Madison0
I once thought t'here must be a keyboard shortcut for that' when being showed how to kill baby seals.
