coppola sofia rose; not wine; coppola claret; something i can't pronounce but is awesome; rose regal (awesome sparkling red); caducues anubis; caduceus primer; some dessert wine i haven't tried yet

^ from what i understand it's the skins that make a red wine red (and also imparts the wine's tannin structure). to make a red wine requires the skins to be present throughout the entire fermentation... sadly, that bottle could have been anything
i'm no expert though

More of a white wine drinker, usually Riesling. Tend to stick to ones from around the Clare Valley. The Jim Barry Watervale Riesling is our most common go-to bottle. I'll give a good red a shot though (I certainly wasn't complaining when I got to try a 1985 vintage of Penfolds Grange...)
Don't mind fortifieds either. A good port or muscat is a nice way to cap off a night. The Ruffian by Hugh Hamilton in the McLaren Valley is particularly nice.
