From the uk that is. If so, is it working out for you? Is it what you thought it would be? Was it easy to find accommodation?
Was it worth it?
Anyone?

It's nae worth it. Talk to MX though, he was going through the motions, the hoooooor that he is...
- Cactus0
Why would anyone want to do that?
- JerseyRaindog0
to be further away from France for starters...
- JerseyRaindog0
Thanks Mr Snuggles, how do I find MX then. Where's he lurking about?
- mr_snuggles0
chant 'hoooor' repeatedly in your mirror for about 3 minutes, he should appear, and hopefully he'll be wearing slacks...
He'll be 'round later I'm sure...

dont let snuggles dim outlook on canada phase you either...
he is a bitter old man who longs for island food's boneless chicken roti.

I've not emigrated yet but still have an open application. Cost me a fortune (close to £4000 including all fees), there's currently a 36 month application processing time and the paperwork you need is extensive and can take months to collect. I've still got 2 years to wait yet, and since I've split with my ex my application might have to be altered which might result in it being taken out of the queue and stuck back on the end with another 36 month wait.
Apart from that, I've not done anything about going to Canada yet, won't think about it until nearer the time (if i can/still want to go).
If you've got any questions try these guys, met a few of them in Edinburgh, really nice and very helpful. Check out the forums.

(Apr 20 06, 05:57)Unfortunately, many of your countrymen don't feel that way. Perhaps it is only the educated one's that are moving here.

Just messin' with you Cactus. I love Paris way more than London. But the UK's not for me and my family any more. Plus, I love the cold...
Thanks for your links 5timuli, will check them out.

Don't get me wrong, I love Canada, and I've lived here all my life, but I've always wanted to go to the UK. Why is it that people are so intent on coming to Canada? Is there something I don't know about the UK?
- 5timuli0
Yeah, it's better. By miles. And miles.
- Cactus0
Lots of trees.
