Really like Cassie's voice an admire her reasoning. Of cause media wouldn't sell so much newspapers/internet time if we all stopped hating and blaming others:
John Lennon would shed a tear that day!

GeorgesII, I wasn't implying you personally. Mostly because I don't know you or your situation and wouldn't judge your personal views on the jokes I've seen elsewhere on here.
I was mostly talking about the comments made by people like JackRyan saying feminists need to be like MLK before he would listen to them. That viewpoint suggests he has very little respect for what people are trying to achieve with the movement.
Of corse I don't think anyone here is on the same level of female restrictions as ISIS, but there are definite links to someone ignoring the needs and wants of women to those who feel they don't deserve it full stop. They are extremely different areas of the spectrum but both what I would say are wrong none the less.
- no they aren't, just like there is no connection between a fps gamer and a mass murderer, stop pulling thing out of your ass.. no offenseGeorgesII
- ass, no offense to you, but some of us have a different viewpoint in life and I do not believe jackryan or anyone else wants to restrict the rights of anyone, if you were honest about feminism, you would have deducted that there is no retrictive movement like the feminist movementGeorgesII
- restrict the rights of anyone, if you were honest about feminism, you would have deducted that there is no retrictive movement like the feminist movementGeorgesII
- like the feminist movement, just look at what they do to those who dissent from the pov, it's quite interesting to see in actionGeorgesII
- No you're right, I don't mean to come across to dismissive of those with different views. That was not my intention.sem
- I should have used better examples rather than going for a group like ISIS who are pure evil.sem
- Absolutely pulling shit out of your arse, sorry. We're arguing but we all basically would like the same thingset
- but it's surprising how polarised peoples perspectives are on feminism.Ianbolton
- Hugs for Set & Georges, sorry guys. I was bit drunk last night. And yes, we all want the same.sem
- lol all good palset

When you stick "have a good night" between footage of someone saying "hey beautiful, can I call you" and [silently follows for 5 minutes] you turn it into harassment by embedding it in a narrative. The video (like all media) is deliberately manipulative.
But let's say it was harassment. What was the actual injury she endured? Random words said by strangers who presumably think she's attractive? Is that what we're calling a social problem now? How do we fix this? Ban men from speaking to women or acknowledging their presence without permission?
- come on dude it'd annoy the hell out of you after a lifetime. Dudes need to know it just ain't okayProjectile
