Was just laying in bed asleep, and check out what happened:
These guys across the alley, in a basement level apartment have been rather annoying this weekend, having parties, being noisy all night, waking me up here and there.
At about 2:20 a.m. I was woken up by some shouting, so I went to look at the window at their windows.
I hear "Who the fuck is in there!" and all this screaming, most of the lights are off.
I see two guys go flying across the kitchen, looks like fighting.
Hear others in the house shout "Who's fucking fighting!?!"Turns out, it was a break in. Apartment full of 7 guys sleeping and one of them woke up to see someone standing in the dark with their playstation.
I'm watching and can only see through windows, but all this shouting, "Get him on the ground!" "What the fuck are you doing in my house???"
Yelling to call 911, etc. From what I've overheard out my window, one of the guys there is a wrestler/fighter/ Ultimate Fighting, etc.
The guy that broke in was armed with a screwdriver, and guy I just mentioned got control of him and the guy still got up on his feet. From what they've said, there is blood everywhere in there. I think they thought they may have killed the robber.
I saw someone grabbing an iron to try and tie him up with the cord while waiting for the cops.Shouting at the robber "You picked the wrong fucking house!"
The cops get there, some of the people in the apartment are outside. The cops are standing over the robber in the kitchen, and he is STILL trying to get up. All kinds of shouting at him. More cops show up, ambulance, etc. and when they bring the guy out, his whole head is covered in towels and he's all strapped to a stretcher.
I could sort of get a view down into the room from my windows, lots of blood smeared on the kitchen floor.
Listening to stuff out the window...telling the cops...someone woke up to see the guy in there, and finally the smashed a chair over his head to get him to the ground.
Fucking crazy. It's 3:22 now and I'm usually asleep. I think the robber is still alive, but I think they messed him up hardcore. Like I said, one of the guys in the apartment is an Mixed Martial Arts fighter, and he got cut above the eye pretty bad. They just kept saying there is blood all over the apartment.
The investigators found suitcases in the trash around the side of the building with other stuff stolen, and evidence that the robber had stolen that stuff.
Just insane. Here I am thinking they're partying and they're actually fighing someone who broke in.

hm, i also found an uninvited guest in my house in Rotterdamn once.
but at the moment i found him, he locked himself up in the bathroom, so the only thing i had to do was block the door and call the police.
but hey, i don't know what i would do when i was a K1 kickboxfighter and found him.

dude, wheres your camera?
haha sounds crazy, did it get your blood moving so you cant sleep?
- mg330
Yep, can't sleep. Still watching out the window. There are detectives there now.
What's nuts is that I had an open window. I'm a bit higher up, my windows start at about 8 feet off the ground.
Some of you remember my apartment got robbed last month - I'm in a new place now, but going to do some extra security here and alert my landlords.
I heard one of the detectives say about the robber "He got the shit kicked out of him" and another one says "Good, he deserved it!"

dude camera

No camera. :( And I don't think the cops would have enjoyed me asking to take pictures.

I just keep listening to the cops talking, telling new ones that arrive what happens.
They keep referring to the "Ultimate Fighter Guy" and of course being a huge fan of that show, it's got my curiosity as to if this guy is really a fighter in the UFC. Heard his friends say he is a jujitsu expert.
They cop said when they were there, the robber tried getting up and his hands, face, everything was just covered in blood. The cop said that they had knocked him unconscious, and really thought they had killed him.
Messed up.

here in the UK, we're all too polite and unoffensive not wanting to rob (no pun) anyone of their rights and homeowners have been advised to allow robbers to steal everything and not to challenge robbers which would lead to assault charges against the homeowner by the robber. In some cases, people have shot their robbers dead on the doorstep.
The term "necessary force" is used so casually and is a grey area the size of China.
In the dark, if somebody broke into my groundfloor apartment with suspicious intentions, I'd be led to believe that my life as well as my wife's would be in danger and would do everything to get that instruder out of the house with any means possible. You wanna come into my house and expect me to just stand idly by while you take stuff I bought? I don't friggin' think so, not without getting losing some blood and getting your ass busted. Hell I'd even consider tying you up, stripping you bare and chaining you to the lamp post outside so the neighbours know what kind of person you are.

I had a neighbour call me over once and he had a guy (17YR) hog tied and hanging from his hills hoist
, spinning him around and every time he came aroung he'd cop a slap, very funny stuff. The kid was bawling. This neighbour found some ID on the guy and it turns out he lived down the road with his parents. My neighbour sent him home and said he'd be around, and to make sure his parents knew what had happened.
When he got there the kid had been beaten severely by his dad and was in the corner crying. The parents made my neighbour a cup of coffee and couldn't stop thanking him...

all robbers deserve a nice piece hickory wrapped around their dirty fucking heads.
My neighbour was robbed and beaten in her own home. Those cunts had no regard.
She was 81

I agree, If they have the nerve to come into your home, they should relinguish all legal rights to their personal safety.

Sorry everyone, but I don't have any pictures. :( Man, I got NO SLEEP last night. And to have a little peace of mind, I shut one of my windows I leave open with a fan in front to bring in cool air.
It was so quiet, I kept hearing all these new noises, from upstairs, neighbors, etc.
I kept thinking about the robber - he likely thought no one was home, and then they see him, beat the living shit out of him, knock him unconscious, then he's got cops standing over him, he's a bloody mess being taken to the hospital, then to jail, and he's being charged with a felony - so far as I overheard.
And I bet he thought he'd just sneak in and sneak out.
Ha!

I'm still all revved up about it. Hoping I can talk to the guys that live there. They just moved in!
What really creeped me out is that when the guy was out on the floor, I could see it, see the cops over him.
They were going through pockets, and he had on black pants, but from my angle, it looked like they were zipping up a black body bag. It's a really strange physical sensation to think you're looking at someone that was just killed.
