Saw the movie Heat with Pacino, and De Niro a few weeks ago for the first time, I really like de niro so I jught bought it on the spot and have already watched it a few times. I love this movie so much along with some of my other fav's such as Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Casino, Fargo etc
I thought the ending of the movie was just so powerful, especially combined with the music. Not sure if anyone else felt that way; it was sad but in a way it was one of the most satisfying endings to a movie i have seen, and great character development throughout the whole movie.
Recommend this to anyone who has not seen it.

I just stopped paying attention to movies for so long, didnt go to the theatre, cause I am sure you will agree there is alot of crap out there.
So I was never really a movie buff. My parents to rent too many movies either. My friend started getting me into some of these films and I am really enjoying them.
So if anyone has any recommendations. I still gotta see true romance and mean streets. I got Scarface in the dvd player for this evening :)
An idea of the movies I like/own for recommendations sake:
Dog Day Afternoon
Heat
Goodfellas
Reservoir Dogs
Fargo
Casino
Taxi Driver
Apocalypse NowI have a feeling I am still going to get the timeline somewhere in this thread haha. Oh well!

Oh and Pulp Fiction to add to that list before I get more rock jokes haha.

one of my favorite movies.

Heat is one of the most hyped and boring movies ever. Mann goes from irritating (Heat) to great (The Insider) too easily and too often... Almost anything from him is better than Heat. I can't wait for the Miami Vice movie.

Moby did the soundtrack
*sticks fingers in ears

And Pulp Fiction is sooooo much better than Heat. It's not the same league not even the same sport tho...

Ahaha, thats funny scene in PF.
Two totally different movies, I did not find heat boring at all, lots of great character development that happens thoughtout the film, so much more than just a heist movie for me. Pulp Fiction to me is more closer to being a comedy than heat.
Moby did 2 songs if I am not mistaken on the soundtrack, so I wouldnt go crediting him with the whole thing. I generally hate his music.
But for example the ending scene with pacino and de niro grasping hands, I found the Moby track that plays really suitable for that scene. One of my favourite scenes from a movie.

def. one of the baddest gun battles ever filmed.
respekt.
(and shit, you know you always run into one of those people who never saw any of the original Star Wars - these things happen.)

Boba - you saying you can't wait for a Miami Vice movie and saying Heat is boring makes me laugh
