I am so happy for you!!!
It's always good to hear when someones date with death is postponed! I was just at a funeral for a 5yr old boy, so this is good news for sure!
Your dad must have more to do on this earth.
Celebrate!!!

awesome news dude!!!
this might seem like a lame thing to say, but I thought i would mention it anyway. I was reading recently that fruits such as watermelon and strawberries contain high amound of cancer fighting stuff/antioxidants, get your dad some of that shit too if it helps him.
Hope things continue to improve dude!

I hate to be a hypochondriac but just complaining to your doctor usually doesn't help you much.
As most girls do, we get checked out every year. Turns out I had pre cancerous cells that could have lead to cervical cancer. they were going to tell me even though the test was abnormal, to come back next year and they'll check it again. I insisted on more tests, and they ended up doing a simple procedure that probably ended up saving my ability to have my own children one day. I was so freaked out the entire month of March.
Our health system is pretty fucked up. I suggest you guys not ignore things if your body is telling y ou something, no matter what some lazy penny pinching, sample pill giving doctor says. Second opinions, always. Sometimes, even a third.

Congradulations, my prayers goes out to your family.
I had a specialist tell me I might have gastrul reflux as well, but he wasn't sure what I have. Makes me want to get a second advice.

I salute him--and you.

I empathize with you Shellie. My Mom got diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s mantel cell lymphoma last year, went through 6 months of treatment and has been in remission now for 5 months. The doctors say that it will eventually come back within 5 years and as frightening as it is to know that she doesn't have many years left, the whole experience has really brought our family closer. I really try and speak with her as much as I can now and it really amazes me how upbeat she is after all the bad news and treatment.
Congratulations to your Dad and I'm glad to hear he's doing better for himself and your family.
