you're seriously asking this question? it's probably the most 'normal / legal' traumatizing thing you can do to a child.
it's disgusting - and every effort she be made by the parents to get over their selfish selves and make sure that child's cared for.

the best thing that ever happened to me was when my wife left her ex husband and took the kids. we met, and 7 years later were married.
the kids are, for all intents and purposes, MINE. I love them...everything I do is for them.
Her ex tried to kill her (really) while one of the kids was watching. How the fuck does a kid get over that?
I love my family.

From one side i think
If such a situation occurs, they shouldn't have had kids in the first place and better do whatever they can to make up for their errors, going as far as dumping their own life for 10 years.
But on the other hand
Kids will fall of their bike and will be bullied, pain is a part of life. Sure it's no small thing but everything has possitive and negative effects. In the end it maybe teaches them not to make the same mistake as their parents which family hypocrite living in constant tension won't.
I got heavily traumatized in childhood far exceeding any divorce and i didn't turn out bad, ok not normal but still satisfied with myself. Nature balances itself. (or God helps out the unfortunate for the religious kids)

shit...i must be so happy I posted twice.
My pops left before I was born, and I never really knew any different. Tons of my pals had just Moms...it was just no big deal.
Now that I learn about my dad it's weird how much we have in common...i have still never met him.

my mom spent 19 years trying to change my father, trying to get him to stop selling dope, doing drugs, etc...
I started to follow in his footsteps when I was 12, I knew everything he did, every bit of slang he used, where he hid the money, when he hid the dope, how much he had, and who he sold it too...
At that age or any age, no child should ever have to learn or be exposed to those things...
I followed his footsteps up until they got a divoirce, my mom loved my dad for who he was, not what he did...
When she finally knew everything I knew he was doing, it broke her heart, and she had to leave him... It sucked, it fucked me up for a good year, and me and my father haven't ever really talked since...
Is it good they seperated? Yes, was it hard on me? For a bit, but I manned up, and moved on,
see my fathers problem is he just did what my grandfather did..
I'm just not trying to repeat those mistakes..
All in all, my fucked up families relationship has made me a real nut job when it comes to my own relationships, lol...

nice work pocho. my parents divorced when I was like a year old. pops was in the navy and in vietnam. never knew him much and he died a few years back.
not having a dad around will definitely make having lasting relationships with females difficult.
