I've used a few different Epson's and always been impressed.
I own a fairly decent Canon, and yet, I'm not impressed. The white point seems too high, can't be adjusted down with settings, and means I lose a lot of detail in light areas of photos etc. Contrast not-too-subtle bascially. However, I'm sure that's not the case for all of them, maybe I just got a dud.
Dammit.
