I try to squeeze some work in between the golf.
It's a quality game because it's difficult.

I played twice last week.
Been playing since I was 12, though you wouldn't know it.

I don't play but I was stuck at a sporting goods store the other day so I started browsing the clubs. I watched what other people did to size up the clubs and I pretended like I really knew what I was doing.
then someone asked me if I worked there and I panicked and went into hiding in the bows and arrows section.
i wish i could play golf but i suffer from chronic physical uncoordination.

i keep a roll of sports tape in my bag to wrap the blisters. usually around the 11th hole i gotta wrap my thumb from strangling my irons

(between the red dot and the island) and my brother in law and my girlfriends brother plays, so I've started swinging on the range and I'm enjoying it so far.

I enjoy a few holes now and again, I'm really shit at it though but when I get a good shot in it makes it better.

i play. often. i shoot high 70s. if i break 80 it's a bad day. i practice putting on goofy golf courses. where better to read lines than there? haha.
to my knowledge i'm the only person to drive the number 16 hole at marengo ridge golf course in marengo illinois. a 377 yard dog leg right hole over the water. i was lucky enough to have my grandpa and grandma (they golf regularly too) there to see it, along with the club pro and a few guys from the group behind us. they couldn't believe it.
in the past 4 years i've played in about 11 'best ball' tournaments for fun. i've won about 9 longest drive holes. haha. 3 of them i won a new driver. wtf?!? if i won the longest drive don't they know i probably have a really good driver? why would i want another?!? haha.

- flickster0
I was actually going to go to the British Open this year... but it fell on the same weekend as my first wedding anniversary... so I'm heading to New Orleans with the wife instead.
Maybe next year. I've never been overseas...

yeah, I've been working with him for about 4 years... I usually get out to 3 or 4 tournaments a year. Went to the Players Championship and The Memorial this year... he's struggling right now, but he'll break out of the slump soon.

I play... used to play more before getting married, but I still try to play once a week. I'm about an 8 handicap.
I do a lot of design work in the golf industry, and one of my clients is Mike Weir, Canadian golfer who won the Masters in 2003. Great guy.
