does the ipod and the ipod mini share the same usb/firewire cable? or are they different?
just curious, because my cable is shotty, and i was thinking maybe i could just use my gf's cable. she has a mini, i have a 3g.

same cable. although when i used my friends usb it didn't charge my ipod but it did connect it.

oh, and i have a 3rd gen ipod and the cord i was using was from a 2nd gen mini
