i think kids have a really weird connection with the beyond.
Sometimes I think that invisble friends kids have might not be invisble friends. Well... I think for the most time they are probably made up.. but there is a possibility that it could be some other kind of presence and connected to a very sensitive child. Usually they grow out of it as they get older.

Oh yes... my naunah told my mother never to tougch a oijia board. And, my mom told me never to fuck with those things. So, I just never did. I'm in my 20's now and I still have never touched one.
I never went to sleep overs if the girls were going to do that crap. But my friend brenda had one in her room where we were both sleeping. It was in her closet and I didnt know.. otherwise I would have asked her to put it somewhere else.
She had a big pull out bed. I woke up the next day and the pull out bed was no longer next to hers. it was on the complete other side of the room. and it was flipped around (which would have been difficult considering the size of the room and the size of the bed.
It would have had to have flipped the entire bed around, because the sheets were still tucked around the foot of the bed and some of the sides. Someone would have had to remake the bed. And, even though I think I sleep pretty hard, nobody could have picked me up like that without me knowing. I was like 12 or 13, so I wasnt exactly a easy to pick up little kid anymore, and branda's dad wasnt exactly a big guy. It was big enough that moving that myself I would have completely woken myself up. It took a bit of effort to move that thing around.
I always thought that was some weird ass shit. I couldnt really explain why or how, but it did and it's pretty impossible.

on sunday i was working alone with one cook and one waitress. i got a call from suite 101. a little old lady was wanting some food. normaly on sundays we don't take orders like that but she sounded old as dirt. so i took her order and delivered it myself to the room. as i got to the door i knocked and knocked but she didn't answer. so all pissed off i went down to the lobby thinking someone pranked me from another room but the rooms were all empty. no one was staying in the small hotel that sunday and i know that when the phone rang it came up as room 101.
so the lady working the front desk took me up to the room and as we walked in all the lights were on and the tv was on in the bedroom. as i looked at the bed it looked like someone had been laying in it.
the lady stayed behind and cleaned the room and was mumbling about room service for not cleaning it up but f-that i knew what it was. that was about 2 weeks before i quit.
man, i could go on all day i have so many occurances.

damn, you floated across?!??
i've never messed around with a ouijia board either, that could be asking for it
- brandelec0
kOna, which hotel is it?
- shellie0
brandelec i swear i dont remember feeling being moved the whole time. it's almost like someone snapped their fingers and I was instantly turned around.
All that moving would have woken me up.
I can tell you it was a bitch to get the bed flipped back around the right away in the morning when we were trying to put it back away.

and i thought discipler was stupid
- brandelec0
thats too weird, did anybody else question why it was flipped?!? like when they helped you flip it back??
- brandelec0
that lobby def looks haunted, i'd try staying there for a night
- shellie0
her parents and everyone were like "wtf shellie?"
Nobody was freaked out. But nobody fessed up to it either.... so i dont think anyone was *trying* to freak me out. There was never an explaination.
I never spent the night at Brenda's house again. I made her ass come to my house from then on out.

brandelec. on closer inspection i guess the guy sold the hotel and it's now called the ramada inn.
there is a set of steps in the kitchen that leads to the basement. in there there is a series of tunnels that lead under the city that were built during prohabition. walking down another set of stairs to the sub basement is the origional furnice. it's as big as a small house. unreal. the coal door is large enough to easily fit a person or two into. awesome.
looking around in the basement there are a few bricks in false walls missing. looking through the bricks you can see rooms that have no entry but are surely there. i always wanted to smash out a few bricks and go inside to see if any goodies were in there.
the hotel is amazingly weird.
origional safes unopened built into walls. you can see two staircases (the edge of the stairs) that are flush with a wall that lead to a room that knowone knows how to get to or even what floor it's on.
crazy stuff.
a lady who can speak with the dead once walked in the front door and screamed then fainted. when the ambulance came and she was sitting there with oxygen she told in detail of the inside of our liquor store room. she said from the brown 12"x12" beam that runs from corner to corner a small boy was hung. look at the beam and you'll see the rope marks.
i couldn't really see the rope marks but how the shit did she know the beam was in there. wierd.

hehe "are you crazy, what if my bed ends up in the lawn"

oijia boards are straight evil.
in high school these two girls were using one at a party and they were 'talking' to someone. when they asked how 'he' died the board flew off of their lap hitting the wall a few feet away i know they didn't do it cause both of their hands were above the board on the little triangle thing. i left that party in a hurry.
fuck those things.

i rented white noise a few weeks ago, movie sucked ass but since it was based on true events, that was a little freaky

the hotel was built in 1926 but it was built around a mansion what was there much much earlier. the front stoop of the mansion is actually the entrance to the dry storage where they keep all the bread. behind a wall there is one of the safes.
they made their fortune selling barbed wire (sycamore/dekalb invented barbed wire).
yeah, when she said that everytime i was in that room i had a bus boy or girl stand in there with me and 'help'. really i just didn't want to be alone in that room. i always felt like there was someone in there with me even before the lady said that.
