my friend's house is apparantly haunted. his family have heard/seen violins playign in their house, a baby crying, and a woman in a white wedding dress.
one freaky story he told that really freaked him out was that he was usign the bathroom at night and he started to hear a loud heartbeat right outside the door and wouldn't leave till it stopped.

it's funny cause most people who have experienced the supernatural always claim to feel a 'cold presence'. well out of all the rooms in our house my little girls room is alway warm. even tho it's the one room that has the most shade. most of our guest claim to feel the difference when they enter the room.

(Jun 21 05, 13:13)yeah. it sorta reminded me of one of those movies, 'amytiville horror' when the little is playing with some kid.

Tim...are you serious?
Anyhow...my Aunt and Uncle left my cousing Rey (one of the bet tattoo artists around, btw) at our house when he was three years old. I think I was about 12. They had to leave immediately cause Reys grandpa was dying in Texas.
They told us not to mention anything to him of course, and we didn't. He had no clue, since he was sleeping when they brought him over. Well, he started crying in his sleep, then just screaming...I remember it like it was yesterday...he was freaking out. He told my Mom that his Grandpa had been talking to him and told him that he was going to go away and he loved him. He had actually died about 2 hours earlier.

at first i thought i was just seeing things, but i honestly see this little girl wearing a dress. always running in out of the hallway. i don't see the old lady anymore, but you can feel the difference in temperature in my litttle girls room.

does she say anything? have you tried talking to her? how old does she look? do you know the history of your place?

quite a few years ago i was sleeping and woke up to see my buddy dan standing in my room. i sat up in bed and was like 'dude, how did you get in here?!?' all quite like cause i didn't want to wake up my parents. he was just standing there in the corner looking at me. as i went to get out of bed he lifted his left hand and gave a wave and vanished.
i thought it was a dream until the next morning when i found out that earlier in the night he had been driving home and fell asleep at the wheel wrecking his car. when i got to the hospital i found out that he had for a brief moment passed away at the scene but was brought back by the emt on the way to the hospital.
i never said a word about it until a few weeks ago when my grandfather passed away. dan came to the wake and we were sitting there talking about him. dan and i had grown up together in the same neighborhood as my grandfather. somehow that night came up in our conversation and he said he was lucky he didn't go. he said it was weird that at one time he blanked out and was dreaming he was in my room standing in the corner as i slept and that i woke up and... well. you know where i'm going with it.
when i told him i saw him in my room finishing his story we both sat there for a while and didn't talk.
since then our friendship has never been stronger. crazy thing.

she doesn't speak. she just runs in and out of the hallway. like wanting attention. or wanting to play. she looks between 4 and 6 yrs of age.
don't know the history of the place. got a good deal. and now i know why.

wow kOna, that's somethin else.. i won't forget a story like that

- tim5250

I was a latch key kid and came home to an empty house for a few hours after school before my mom got home at 5:30.
i truly believe my naunah babysat me for a few years. It was never creepy.. but rather like.. getting an overwhelming feeling that I should do my homework, turrn off the tv, wash my hands, clean up, etc. (stuff that a kid would never care to do when they have a few hours of freedom when their parents arent home). I used to be able to smell her, which was a completely forgien smell in my mother's house. I didn't even know what it was until much later in life, when my mom gave me 5 sweaters that belonged to her and it smelled like her. I was like OH thats naunah!
I never saw anything... but I did feel her. I felt like she would lay with me when I was napping. She'd tell me stories and give me advice. It's was really weird but really sweet.
I never knew her at all, so when I told my mom about it she thought it was amazing how dead on I was about things my naunah would say or do. I don't think I missed out on the experience to spend time with her, because she was all mine for a few years.
When I became a preteen, she went away. I was the only one of my brothers and sisters she didn't have a chance to watch. She died 2 weeks after I was born and only had a chance to hold me once.
I also don't believe I made that up, even though typically I dont believe in ghost stuff.
