    It is hard to determine how much power the government has.

    Our bins are collected by a German company I think.

    The flip side of this...

    Our green recycling box is organised by a charity set up by local residents who make a profit and donate the money to local charities - so in a way I'm glad the council never took the initiative.

    what gets me the most is one week one daughter turns up, aged 12 and announces she's pregnant.

    Then 2 weeks later BOTH sisters are pregnant too.... and the mum wants to blame the school????

    old enough to bleed,

    old enough for gross generalisations

    or similar.

    it's true that it's not right or good to seriously engage in demeaning characterisations of entire groups of people. but poverty and ignorance are problems that political correctness isn't going to solve.
