it wouldn't be a NT crit without this...
it needs more cow bell.

grutt, ain't that the truth.
logos for photographers are kinda like logos for indy designers, maybe not so necessary. A beatiful type treatment and let the photographs speak for themselves, IMO.

KLD, why yes it is.....
know him?
- thompson0
KLD, I agree with your last post too.
I think he will benefit more from a nice logotype rather than some brand logo.

i like the simplicity of 5
- thompson0
he is a west coast photographer, usually colorful work for ReadyMade™ mag, adidas..ect...

5

and the colors in the mock ups are fairly arbitrary....but I am looking to keep things in the same vivid tone
- kld0
we worked with him on a job here, nice guy.
- skt0
5 is nice. But the colours are horrible. Vivid is fine, yuk is not so fine.
- kld0
Are you doing a site for him? Or does he have one up already?
- k770
ha
- thompson0
we are also working on his site.

i think 5 is really strong. i would like to the see the inner white circle larger though. balancing the negative space outside in.
- kld0
cool, looking forward to seeing it. How do you know him?
- vb_0
number 4 already exists! almost the exact same shade of colour as well!! forgot what tho.
but the aperture symbol has been used LOTS for photo-related companies..
- swollenelbow0
go with 1 but change the colors, and maybe see if you could add another element...

no.3 looks familiar too. It's an over used idea I guess.
