I quit smoking. I got my teeth whitened so now I have too much invested to screw up my teeth again. I feel weird -- but so good.

My old college roomate died last month of a congenital heart defect agitated by his drug use.

I have never smoked so maybe I just don't know the effect of smoking, but it just seems like such a stupid thing.
One of my grandmothers is soon to pass away from lung cancer that turned to brain cancer that turned to bone cancer all since December 04, and she only ever smoked casually in the 1950s.
It's really sad that this is the consequence of that, so long ago. It makes me sad to think that otherwise she was always healthy, and her years she could have in the future with grandkids, my wedding one day, my kids, being with her husband of over 50 years, is all cut short because of smoking (and not even smoking that much.)It makes you think...
It makes you wonder how people can knowingly ingest something so harmful.Life is more important than that...

hollywood bodies scare me a lil.
i know this girl who hasnt had plastic surgery, but the stuff she does to keep the most perfect body -- it's really obsessive. she spends most of her nights in the gym, does all kinds of weird stuff every day for hair commercial shiney hair, and does not allow herself to eat as much as her body wants even if shes truely really hungry.
any guy who sees her thinks shes the hottest girl on earth. you all have probably seen her on TV once or twice... but in the end she's just really unhappy.

And good news about having whiter teeth, it will make you happy and you will have more friends. Also, if you replace key amino acids (that your hair loses every day) you will live longer, and that is clinically proven.
