I have never smoked so maybe I just don't know the effect of smoking, but it just seems like such a stupid thing.

One of my grandmothers is soon to pass away from lung cancer that turned to brain cancer that turned to bone cancer all since December 04, and she only ever smoked casually in the 1950s.
It's really sad that this is the consequence of that, so long ago. It makes me sad to think that otherwise she was always healthy, and her years she could have in the future with grandkids, my wedding one day, my kids, being with her husband of over 50 years, is all cut short because of smoking (and not even smoking that much.)

    It makes you think...
It makes you wonder how people can knowingly ingest something so harmful.

Life is more important than that...

Thats a cunt about your granny and that, but do you not think its a bit naive to assume smoking to be the cause given that it was 50 years ago and only casual. I no plenty people that never smoked, still diesd of cancer.
