thing about linux is noone expects to pay for anything, so the development of pro quality design tools is shitty.
- toastie0
yeah, but sooner or later these tools will come out of an open source community.

some people forget that not everybody wanks to the UberGeek magazine centerfold section featuring the latest shell scripts and admin security tips as well as the latest *nix distros.
everyone has their own taste. thank the lord for variety.

i have a pc cpu but it is merely a shell.
i keep my fleshlight in it.

meh, most modern linux distros are quite user friendly. moreso than windows in many cases. probably not OSX though.

I've used Raspberry... the apple OS that was designed for a PC. although it was never released it worked great... just like OS-9. I would think that it would only be a matter of time before apple releases a PC compatible OS...
- sparker0
it doesn't really make since
- sparker0
hm. that's odd...it posted it before i was done.
anyway...it really doesn't make sense for apple to release a pc architecture os.
linux, unix, windows, next, os/2, beos, etc. already fill that niche.
it makes more sense for apple to make the windowing layer of osx more unix/linux compatible. then you can easily migrate between architectures.
