when the hell did the Angels become the LA Angels. That sounds terrible..!
- blaw0
i believe they are offically the "Las Angeles Angels of Anaheim".
it was a decision based on the fact that they want to market to the LA crowd.
additionally, some folks were concerned that there wasn't enough about the organization to make fun of.

hahaha blaw

I thought it was:
The Orange County and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Starring the O.C’s Shannon Lucio Also of Spring Break Shark Attack Fame
or for short:
The OCALAOASTOCSLAOSBSAF’s or the Shark Angels

if not for that pesky "SBS" near the end, that would be pronouncable.

The Yankees are now being introduced, and the Fenway crowd is giving closer Mariano Rivera a standing ovation -- much to his amusement.

a-rod is still an ass-rod.

What's up with Nomar, he seems washed up or something. He's spaced out at the plate. Don't make me talk about the Pirates, dreadful as usual, since Bonds left.
- todelete__20
nomar goes through more ups and downs then a roller coaster.
he brings more to the team as a glvoe and body in the field than anything. he's a great motivator. he's so friggin supersticious at the plate it's a wonder he ever gets a hit.
- JazX0
yeah he's better than that other dude you had anyway. you stole Aramis Ramirez from us basically. Bobby Hill is good my ass :(

Red Socks were owned by the Jays this weekend.
Respect!

kOna, BTW, I got Cubbies-Pirates tix for this Friday night. I'm already prepared to lose. haha
- todelete__20
his glove is way better and when nomar came to the cubs the fans instantly embraced him. made the games that much better.
he just needs to walk up to the plate, say 'fuck it' step in and hit.

rivera getting the standing-o was fucking hilarious. it went like this:
announcer: 'starting pitcher, # 41, randy johnson'
fenway crowd: 'BOOOOOOOO!'
announcer: 'closer, # 42, mariano rivera'
fenway crowd: * rapturous applause for a minute
announcer: 'starting pitcher, # 35, mike mussina'
fenway crowd: 'BOOOOOOO!'

just watching the sox-yanks game... what a horrendous ump.
he ejects two coaches for the sox and it looks like he's ready to pull the trigger on randy. this dude definitely will not be calling a sox-yanks game ever again.
- arthur0
the BoSox are the new Yankees, screw em both
Go A's!.....please?
- JazX0
A's stole Jason Kendall, bite me!
:(
- mattyd0
im going to have to respectfully disagree with you there, arthur. the rex sox only won one world series in the past 86 years, the yanks have won 26. we have some catching up to do before that happens.
tight work you got there though.

I'm talking payroll. It's so outta hand
