yep i did,
you said i had no talent so i compared, i wanted your other list of stuff to post instead but it wasnt there.
my point was- if i have no talent and made that then where does that put you with what you made
- superkhy0
no.
but it happens, if you want to do quick sketches for clients or whoever when a computer isn't readily avaliable.

go back and look at Dan_ post
you can learn stuff but doesnt mean that you have talent
dont mix skill set with talent
- MrDinky0
you have entrepreneurial talent.
if i tried entrepreneurialship i would fail cause i may have the skill set, but i dont have the talent to make it work well.

in regards to the initial topic of drawing,
anyone have this book?
- version30
mr i have no need to have a problem with you
we each took our shots and lashed out towards one another over the past weeks your words here are spoken with sense and i would like to call this off
i think we'd make better critiquers for one another than to continue battling...
what do you say?
- MrDinky0
no i think this is fun
- version30

for both you need to know how to see.
by practicing drawing you practice how to look at things wich helps you as a designer.
so does Photography, even in a more direct way, because it needs more skills to draw than to handle a camera.

Regarding the original question:
In my humble opinion ;) drawing is drawing, and design is design. No need to try and create a mutually dependent relationship between the two.
- version30
the ability to draw is the ability to focus,
if you cant draw well, you're just lazy

*bump

I can be lazy sometimes and I can draw sometimes, but when I can't draw it doesn't mean I'm lazy just that my head can't get round the drawing bit
