www.powerbright.com is linked in the PBS... looks suspiciously like Tokyo Plastic... only bad.

what a complete waste of space on the left with the ginormous navigation box.
- unfittoprint0
just becuase it's a vector output of a 3D animation?
then I must be guilty as charge also.

You have to watch the intro... rip, rip, rip off.
- mrdobolina0
bullshit, what is so similar about the two sites? give examples.
- helloshua0
The intro, not the site.
The design of the little chracters in the intro, as well as their motions remind me of Tokyo Plastic. Just the intro... not the site.
- lvl_130
nope.
- grafholic0
not similar.
and i wonder...why such heavy intro??? it seems completely unnecessary.
- Pixter0
nope 2
- DutchBoy0
Nope III

OK, ok... so you all disagree about my imagined Tokyo Plastic ties. So be it.
Do we agree that the intro is a bit unecessary?

I loved the intro, it's miles better than the main site.
By the way, helloshua, just because something "reminds" you of another site does not mean something was ripped.
- helloshua0
Strong use of the word, I admit. Open mouth, insert foot, lesson learned.
I agree that the intro is better than the site... but I still think it's an unecessary feature for trying to sell transformers and adapters.
- pagepapa0
helloshua, you must not have tried to sell transformers. I like the extraneous intro.. seems like a cdrom presentation or leave behind amrketing piece taht got reused as a web intro. Probably cost enought that it needed to be reused somehow.
I does remind me of Tokyo Plastic but Tokyo plastic reminds me of hello kitty ( maybe her evil cousin) and hello kitty reminds me of pikachu which reminds me of pacman which reminds me of now and laters which reminds me of snopp doog which reminds me to shut up now..

our industry is in trouble if you seriously think thats a rip...
i personally love the intro. good style
- Scottizzle0
Its not a rip, but those little characters and the whole intro is an obvious immitation of Tokyo Plastic. I promise if you asked the tokyo plastic people, they are not happy with this.
- grafholic0
the intro is nice, but then the site sells "12 Volt & 24 Volt DC to AC Power Inverters in both Modified & Pure Sine Wave." and i really don't see the need to have such heavy animation...
- dopepope0
"Say there Tokyo Plastic person, are you pleased with this?"
"Certainly not" says the Tokyo Plastic person.
- DutchBoy0
"but they sell 12 Volt & 24 Volt DC to AC Power Inverters in both Modified & Pure Sine Wave?"
"oh, in that case they are way cool!" says the Tokyo Plastic Person.
- dopepope0
"Tokyo Plastic Person, where do babies come from Tokyo Plastic Person?"
- helloshua0
Plastic storks, of course.
