don't think it's going to be cheaper, more about making it less london centric. changing the bbc "tone of voice" etc.

It's all politics
- moth0
Is that bad? In the long run?
- soda0
It's really sad, especially considering the amount of money wasted in other areas of the public sector.
Another labour legacy to be proud of...

i think it'll be good for the uk in the long run. it will certainly be good for all those creatives up north who've had to move to london in the past to get work.
- Kuz0
I agree. UK is far too Lodon centric.

Good points there Kuz.
haha. Maybe if I move to Manchester I can afford to buy a Home, Because I sure as hell cannot afford to do this in london.

Would be good to get some more stuff like this happening in the South West... I can then move back home and live by the sea

Evan better, Suff and design.

BBC, might actually improve when they move up North.

there is a big push to get creative companies to move down to cornwall. A friend of mine was considering it for her company, they had an all expense paid trip down there for a reccy...
- vespa0
that's the idea save
- moth0
I hope they wont start talking funny...

most of the bbc's voice over types have regional accents these days.
Can't understand a bleedin' word sometimes....
- save0
They might even move with the times more.
Top of the pops, Blue Peter, and the never ending DIY shows...whadda load of shite.
They really need to become more contemporary, and stop creating programmes for old conservative twits!
- JamesEngage0
Its the good thing about having sky TV you can watch different regions of news... westcountry news is so much better than bleeding london tonight...where you seem to get told the same news as ITN
- soda0
it still has to cater for middle england... wherever that is.
