Anyone have any good images and info of good Design Portfolios (hard, non-web). OR any good ideas on how to present printed work.

a good idea to present printed work is to have your own ideas and print them.

be creative in the way you lay out print work, don't just square everything up. for some of my bigger, more in depth projects (say an identity system with 3 or 4 print collateral pieces) i spread the work out over 2 facing pages. for web sites, simple screen shots will do, but crop a few of them to show some of the details of the page. another way to go is to shoot some photos of your work and put them in your book. i did that for some package designs, then on the next page included the actual die-lines. hope this helps.

quality not quantity. Make it easy to modify depending on what kind of company you're visiting, ie. show production stuff if you're applying at production company etc. makes sense huh? Good Luck!
Btw, Make it possible for the art director to take out pages for photocopying.

Thanks for the great response... This helps. I had a bound folio I made, problem was, I could not edit it. I figure just simple and effective. I like the idea of photocopy-able (sp!haha) pages. Nice. Thanks again.
