be creative in the way you lay out print work, don't just square everything up. for some of my bigger, more in depth projects (say an identity system with 3 or 4 print collateral pieces) i spread the work out over 2 facing pages. for web sites, simple screen shots will do, but crop a few of them to show some of the details of the page. another way to go is to shoot some photos of your work and put them in your book. i did that for some package designs, then on the next page included the actual die-lines. hope this helps.
