I scanned some negatives on my scanner, but I can't use the négative system (they are 6x6).
So I get this yellow layer on it after using the negative "filter".how to remove it after the scan, any good solutions ?
thanks

color balance in photoshop might help you

are you using a flatbed scanner?

yes and I don't have that extra film/neg extension.

"yes and I don't have that extra film/neg extension. "
i don't think you will ever get it to look good without an adapter

It needs to be back lit. Put a light behind it... that may help brighten it up... maybe a flashlight
(of course you need to leave the scanner cover up for this...)

but the quality isn't too bad, the only problem is that yellow/brown look it gets.
Thanks for your help, I'll try with a lamp. cheers.

just claim they're sepia tones.

try just doing an auto levels (if you haven't already) on it... that can sometimes work wonders.

add blue?

take the little foam-y thing out of the underside of the scan lid?

the best method in photoshop would be to use the selective color tool.
