What's up with this?
Is it a host, or a stats counter?
Whatever it is it makes sites load really slowly.
It makes me click away before I let the site load.
Someone enlighten me
- ozhanlion0
go there and don't click away.
*see the hug thread.

my Safari don't like it for some reason, but IE/pc seems to get along with it just fine..
it just started fucking up yesterday..
- ********0
it's a stat counter by the way..
- ********0
u ahve to put it at teh bottom
- DutchBoy0
i installed it on my new site, but then threw it away immediatly as i realized clients are impatient.
the service is very nice, but a bit slow and unreliable.

always takes to long to load a page with reinvigorate... i can't stand it and hardly ever wait..
it sucks
- scarabin0
...we're all on broadband here, right?
- mrdobolina0
why not use the stats that your hosting provider gives you?
- ********0
used to be quick. reason why it is slow is because it cant find a certain file in the js include. a loading error
- lara0
scarabin if you are refering to me. yes i do. T1.
- ribit0
it does stuff the others dont... but it is slow...we had to take it out of our site because it slowed it down too much, but I have heard you can wrap the code in a script so it will give up if reinvigorate takes too long to respond?
- peteski0
one link a day I bail on due to reinvigoration
- ********0
I used to like it because it gave me one other site besides newstoday to check hundreds of times a day-- but I, too, eventually bailed
- kodap0
me too

so i always seem to get an error when it looks for this file: (left out the http on purpose)
www.reinvigorate.net:1983/?uid=1…...
is this just because i excluded my own ip? or that r.net doesn't like safari?
test site:

its a safari thing. i had to test it on diff platforms and browsers yesterday and only safari gave the error
- BonSeff0
i should also say i added the script to a site tonight and have only visited the site in safari and it is tracking...
so i dunno
i hate that error message tho
- PikoPiko0
add the script at the bottom of your html. It loaded much faster after that.
- toe-knee0
never had a problem with it to be honest. but i did what other told me and put it last in my code
- lvl_130
awesome concept/tracking but it has always seemed to be a problem on sites i visit. it's really too bad considering...
who found out about that insert into last lline of code solution?
