i have nero 5.5...but when i installed my new dive it said it couldnt work with it becouse it was only for my last drive..... so no nero for me :( ....but the new drive came with Ulead and i use the burn app with that and its good but i need a app for just burning DVD movies.....

yo, use the other two that i stated above. it works like a charm.
these links should get you where you need to go (i think. if not google them : )

do u need nero to use dvd shrink?
- lvl_130
nope. but you need dvd decrypter to well...decrypt the dvd. that program you can also burn the finished copy.
basically you send a dvd through shrink (that compresses it to fit onto a 4.7 dvd disc...but, if you have a dual layer burner you probably won't even have to use this program for most dvds) then you put it through dvd decrypter and it strips the code, creates an iso image and from that burns it to the blank disc. it's not the fastest thing but it works well.

Actually one other question....
I have a aobut 5 AVIs I need converted to a DVD, I tried using DVDSanta, but the sound was out of sync...
Any other apps out there that might do the job?
- lvl_130
to tell you the truth, i have run into that problem myself. sorry to say i have yet to find an answer though. it may just be the price you pay for compression. not sure though...anyone else got the answer?
