with a big difference tho.. the one you posted is a big ass paramount production, while the geweldenaren one seems more like a small 'indie' intitiative..

hup holland hup
laat de leeuw niet in z'n hempie staancurious about the whole production though
cinema4D graphics always have this too matte feel for me
- flowrez0
Well ... we didn't use cinema4d at all. We worked at different location with people using different software and different specialties. So the robots were done in Maya, the explosions in lightwave, and the windmill and graphics were done in 3dsmax. Compositing and grading was all done in aftereffects. It was a great experience working from different locations mixing those different software packages. It seems to work great. It's all about organizing the whole thing.
cheers

it can def. be refreshing to work with various software packages at the same time, too bad you did not try C4D at all though.
the movie is amazing, is it part of a bigger thing?
- DutchBoy0
ah, nevermind, found it already via yer profile:
- flowrez0
hehehe.. well we are hoping to find an investor who will help us create the entire movie. Would be great to do a 20 minutes film... or even better.... a feature film ;)
We will deffinately start something new. It's in the heart, so it will come out one way or the other. We went haywire that bad, now we even get dreams about robots and exploding buildings. :)
