Does anyone know were to get a good table to put your turntables and mixer at?

The cheapest route is to get an appropriate sized piece of ½ Ply wood. Paint it black. Get a keyboard stand. Works great and it's mobile too.
For a sturdier and less mobile option, buy a counter top from a hardware store and place it on a couple saw horses.

vestax makes a portable one now that's supposed to be pretty nice... only room for 2 1200's+a mixer though...for a not-so-portable version, i built my desk out of an old solid core door with galvanized pipes/flanges and have my setup on it. it's about 7'x3', so it's HUGE. it also weighs about 250 LBS so it's not shaking or going anywhere.
for a party we had awhile back, my friend DJed on some plastic pepsi skids some kids borrowed from kroger. 3 up on their sides with one on top... it was nice and sturdy and absorbed dance floor vibes.

i have been using one of those heavy duty bakers racks. works perfect and fits two tech12's a mixer and bout 6 inches on either side.
plus you can throw monitor speakers on another rack above you.
sams club $85 is the cheapest i've ever found them for. otherwise they're like at least a few hundred bucks.

Useful facts for better sound pt1:
If your table is sitting on the floor or the turntables are close the speakers they've developed this product: http://custommade.cc/eliminator.…
which is essentially what's been used for years: 4 pvc pipe couplers 2-3 inches deep 3-4 inches in diameter (ashtrays or duct tape rolls work just as well) and with 5-10 rubber bands stretched across the diameter. upended so the turntable feet sit on the rubber bands covering the void. voila - no feedback or skipping from the dancefloor.

speaking of tables, anyone wanna buy a set of numark 600s with stanton discmasters for cheap?
- dablammit0
...I meant gemini 600s.

Dude, if you really want to make an impression and name for yourself, you'd get a piece of 1/2" plywood, paint it black, and get to nekkid chicks to get down on their hands and knees to be the legs of the table.
Now I would pay GOOD money to come to one of those shows!

my version ran me about $50-ish for the pipes/flanges... i picked up the old door from a flea market for like $10.. but it is FAAAAAR from portable.

I found a perfect catering cart with the simmering pans and sht. Stainless steel, wheels, perfect hight, lower shelf that holds like 300 records and room in the pans for a nice little set. as soon as I saw it all I could think was 'dj set up'. Nice piece of furniture as well.
