I'm curious too, I wonder if they'll try to fatten it up with more cartoons like the first movie.
- Mr_Jump0
The movie kinda sucked tho didn't it? All style no content...
- Mimio0
Yeah, and the dialogue was full on stupid.

tarintino was trying way too hard to make another tarantino movie.
- cosmo0
was great movie though.

I really liked it. The attention to detail was brilliant. I'm gonna make a movie like that one day. mibees.

I got a hold of the press kit briefly for a project I'm working on, no footage though, but there was a synopsis and photos, basically Uma's gonna fuck peeps up like they were eathan hawke, michael madsen/daryll Hannah have bigger rolls, because the be some bad ass mofo's!

I dunno. It seemed pointless. Normally i love violence in a movie. But here it made no sense. In Pulp Fiction the violence was exciting and funny, and scary - which is why it worked. Kill Bill was just like blah... Uma Thurman was amazing in it tho.

how could voilence in a movie about revenge seem pointless
lol
- Mr_Jump0
Dude, It was soooo excessive. It was fucking ridiculous. Limbless freaks running around the place. I was like what? Zero sense.
- BonSeff0
that b movie cheese was intentional im sure. meant for those with a sense of humor
- woodyBatts0
Have you ever seen Battle Royale?
- dessalles0
heh...
"all style, no content"
i just think that's a funny thing to say on a design forum.
ok.
...sorry, i'll go now
- Mr_Jump0
Yeah, i'm aware of the Irony.
And that it was B-movie cheese. But then, i dont watch many B-movies. And i'm not all clued up with Tarantino's in-jokes. Maybe i'm looking too much into it, but there were scenes that i watched and actually thought "this is plain stupid".

I love it. The movie was purely going over the top what is old Samurai movies (spraying blood), Westerns, B-movies (corny, over the top dialog), anime style story telling (jumping around in the timeline) and good ol fashion shock cinema. I can't wait to see part two.
- Mr_Jump0
Yeah it's one of those movies u either love or hate. I'm not all into parodies of parodies. Rather watch some real samurai flick - Beat Takeshi anyone?
- arinya0
oh and who ever said no content probably does not get the whole honor and revenge thing. I've heard it before by alot of people say that about easten films and don't understand or comprehend the characters motives. It's something that most peeps on the west side of globe don't seem to grasp well. It eastern style story telling. I can't quite explain it but everything is really dramatic almost too dramatic for westerner to take seriously or understand when you watch or hear it. Am I making sense?
- rson0
I thought the movie was great. It stayed true to orginal Shaw brothers movies. (master killer, drunken monk...etc.)
- Mr_Jump0
I do understand eastern cinema. I grew up watchin bollywood movies for fucks sake.
