move to Canada...I can blaze a tree walking around the village here in Whistler with no hassles.
you can thank the so called 'War on Drugs' for what happened today.
Yes it is illegal, yes it is a crime...but more people die from alchohol and cigarettes every year...time to change the laws.

ouch.

Oh I could argue logic all day but I'm no Wittgenstein.
- Meeklo0
Also make cookies with it..
then you can get high while walking infront of the cops..
- mummer_10
geez. talk about adding insult to injury, huh? poor guy comes to NT looking for sympathy after something as awful as being arrested and gets told in over half the responses that it's his own fault.
welp...for what it's worth, i'm sorry, man. most everyone breaks the law, and most everyone carries pot around at some point or another. sorry to hear about your bad luck. next time call me and i'll come drop kick the cops and we'll go get high.

Oh-no! With the heat in London at the moment, the one thing I truly fear and respect is the simmering anger of all the people forced to use the tube..
..best not annoy anyone down there.
too much, anyhows.

"most everyone carries pot around at some point or another"?????might be the dumbest thing I've read all day.
- dopepope0
That is a sad story. I wish it weren't so for you. But...you are breaking the law. And drugs are bad. : )
- unknown0
What were you doing wearing spandex shorts?
No wonder they were suspicious.
- mummer_10
trying to tell me that most people, at some point in their life, never come into possession of pot? what color are the clouds where you're from?
- hiphoprelic0
Just doing their job?
Ha, don't you guys have a thing called probable cause.
Where was it here?
Get ye to the Barrister, lad.

we have to be VERY careful about carrying weed here. always best to take every precaution even with small quantities.
i had to quit a few months ago cuz new work policy states that we are fired immediatly if we test positive for mary jane. now that i am changing jobs...
mwahahahahhahaha.

They are colored with facts.
- exador10
wow..
has NT ever gone moralistic..nairn, my heart goes out to ya..
getting busted for pot in this day and age is retarded..look into getting a lawyer...
see if you can beat it..otherwise, watch it when ya carry it around..
no more taking it on the metro..
just keep the shit at home..or take a freaking taxi...
if the pigs are gonna stake out the public transit, dont' take it..ot atleast don't be carrying when you do..or come to canada..
it's gotten to the point now, that it's like pretty much legal here..
as long as you don't spark up infront of a cop, its pretty unlikely you'll get introuble here for pot..
- bomy_dick0
i 'm with u nairn..
what is it : an eight of weed ?
crime ??? so these days, we still call weed a crime ??
i guess the police has to proove they can catch someone.. so the easiest fish to catch is u and me... walking with an eight of weed...
if they wanted to raid a rave party somewhere.... they would find kilos of hard drugs... but they don"t even bother to go in.. and numerous other examples like that..
this is plain stupid..
- Nairn0
I know, I know.. these are all valid points.
I think I feel so bad partly because I know how easy it would've been to avoid.
Especially as I had originally intended getting off at Tottenham Court Road.. but it hurts too much to think about that!
(ps. the spandex shorts thing was a joke... I never wear spandex in public. in private.,.. meh.)
- scarabin0
wtf? the real crime here is the spandex
- exador10
i for one also agree with the notion that 'most' folks of our generation will at some point probably either try pot, or come in contact with it at some point..
this aint the olden days..where it was all 'dope' and afterschool specials warning you about dope pushers..
c'mon folks..
its a little bit of pot..
its a ciggerette with a kick..if ANY of you out there have ever gotten drunk before, but think 'pot' is bad,
i suggest that you grow up a bit..personally, i don't really touch it much anymore..
but i dislike the notion of anyone telling me (or anyone else) that its 'bad'...
like its some kind of bogeyman thing..smoking a joint..will not, i repeat NOT turn you into some kind of social liability, or outcast, or strung out junkie..
it will however get you invited to more party's...
;)
- Mimio0
In my country the current president is commonly known for pulling many a rail of cocaine in his youth. Fucking hypocrites.
- Meeklo0
yes they do go to raid raves, Ive seen it..
I think, when they prohibit you to use drugs, you are not in free country, when they said, you cant smoke in public places, you are not in a free country, when they said, you cant drink outside, you are not in a free country, when they said you cant buy alcohol after 3am, you are not in a free country,But that is the way it is, and as long they keep calling pot illegal, you are going to have to deal with it.
Im completly against this, and we all know its going to be legal , alcohol makes most people behave violent, and its legal, but there was a time when it wasn't.So there, Im not going to stop using it, but Im carefull with it.
besides, thanks to drugs we all icreased our inspirational moments huh?peace
