correct... ANY advertiser sponsored media is going to have a slant anywhere in the world. the US media just happens to have the most money behind it. but I'm sure it's the same wherever.
The US governement is controlled by BIG money. I'm not saying this is some conspiracy. Anybody that a masses enough big money can get in the game. if you have enough money you can influence the politicians and lawmakers. if you have big money you can advertise and hire PR firms to spread good news about your projects.

Ooohh... that brings me to an interesting point. A little off topic, but interesting nevertheless:
http://www.averagecitizen.org/
Some artist in sweden decided to make the absolutely most average person, have just as much influence in public opinion as any large organization or company. Follow the link... it's a scary but extraordinary project. Any swedes here know about it?

Did you know that ?
Esso is the power behind the George W. Bush throne. They ranked 5th in 1999 for lobby expenditures (6 times more than Enron) and they contributed more to the Bush Republicans election effort than any other oil company - over US$1 million. It was money well spent. As soon as Bush became president, he pulled the United States out of the Kyoto Protocol on climate change - exactly what Esso wanted.
Thats why Bush want to attack Irak. Thats it, oil.
Oil (money) rule the world.

$1 million doesn't sound like much... sounds too simple..

yes ALL media is propaganda. I certainly agree with that. What I have a problem with is that not ALL medai has an equal voice.
Media that has more money behind it has a greater voice. this is not democratic in nature and therefore I believe it is wrong.

bennn.... you are an educated brotha... respect you for that... not to be too paranoid... but really the truth that you are speaking is so truth that you really shouldnt even speak it....
we are currently living the matrix... the wool is being pulled over our eyes right before our eyes.... we all see it, we all know that 9-11 was like bush at third base waving the planes in.
the head of the masons is george bush senior... there are 6 powers above the US gov.... insert the rest of the story here.
the next 10 years of our lives will make 9-11 look like a picnic... wait till we can see the 10th planet in the sky [next 5 years] wait till the power goes out for good... wait till they make public that we arent alone... every war has been about oil... this is about oil. why dont cars run on water? money. less than 25 people run the whole world. non of them are within reach of average joes like us. but yet they decide our fate... they decide to crash planes... they decide oil in cars over water. they decide the UN is bullshit... do you believe this life?
bennn... reality is creepy huh?
- ribit0
cars will run on water just as soon as they are cheaper to buy and run than cars that run on oil... there is no conspiracy... just lethargy, inertia...
- Bennn0
I agree with you Carty
