It is so sad that he is gone...but It is really great to be reading all the good things everyone has to say about him. A musicians musician.

This is sh*tty news. One of the things I was really looking forward too was seeing these guys live at least once.
Such an important band, especially considering anything anyone really has to say today in their music often doesn't extend beyond bling bling or sumthin like that.
Was watching a special on MM yesterday, and it was amazing. These guys introduced people like afrika bambaata to the rock n roll crowd nearly seven years before run dmc and areosmith ever met, not to mention lee perry and the idea of revolution rock (insert U2, Public Enemy et al)
