Actually - he's a jackass who's doing anything for promotion to campaign for the next election.
- surfito0
this is the best time to start.

gravity- care to enlighten us a little as to why you think al gore is a jackass?
- Nirvous0
I am grateful that he invented the internet.
Hey look he's pimping his book...again.
- nope0
jesus christ it's book promotion
al gore has said again and again that he will not run for president.
- unknown0
Al Gore invented the Internet, enough said. Hee, hee ;) But seriously, he needs to shape up and lose that beard for good if he thinks he is going to be re-elected for the Dems. I don't think many have much confidence in him. That's a NY thing because he teaches at Columbia.

I havent heard any reviews on his book, but political books are usually a bore.

'nope' you're an idiot.
gore has said "again and again" that he will wait until after the new year to make his decision on whether or not he will run.
since he has been on the daily show, conan, and snl this week... i think there is a good chance he will.
- nope0
wait until the new year is a lot different than saying I WILL DEFINATELY RUN.
don't you think?
and please, namecalling is juvenile.
so because he's appearing on a few shows, that counts as a confirmation to his running?
- unknown0
well, he's out for the DEMS anyway, just because he says he will doesn't mean he will get the ticket. As far as I am concerned the Dems BETTER be putting someone better than his ass in there next time!!!
- d_t_p0
lol.
"al gore has said again and again that he will not run for president. "
that's what you said... sorry for the name calling, but if you say something, you should mean it... not just say something different the next time you post and pretend you never said the opposite the first time. if you can find me one instance of him saying that he will definitely not run, then show me.
anyway, of course it isnt a confirmation he is running...just my own speculation, of course.
"dont you think?"
- nope0
well, i'd rather not assume he's running based on a few cheesy publicity stints on a few television shows.
i used to watch meet the press and maybe i caught it from there. my mistake.
besides, even if he does run, who would vote for him?
- unknown0
even if he runs he will lose, most Americans perceptions are that he is a loser, no matter how one see's it. He probably will not run like you said. They need another young energy type like Bubba anyway. Gore is a bore!

regardless of marketing intentions, i thought some of the skits were off the hook, especially the Trent Lott blast. that was good comedy and prolly took some sack
- d_t_p0
i'm not sure what i think. policy wise he is decent... and he did 'win' once already.
i'm farther on the liberal end of things then the dems... but i appreciate gore. just not tipper...because she does all of that crap for censorship of music...
bush, on the other hand, is a complete joke, a waste of a human being, and a complete tool.
- d_t_p0
definitely a good episode... and i'm glad to see them not playing it safe. they did everything they should have, and took chances where they needed to.
thank god comedy shows are almost exclusively liberally biased.
and very very nice to see the christmas song back again. jimmy dressed as harry p. was quite funny. and of course horatio as chicken dance elmo is a classic.
- unknown0
but G Dub won didn't he? sad but true
- unknown0
bring me a new and young Dem for X-mas to run.
- nope0
---bring me a new and young Dem for X-mas to run.
get more people our age to vote and you'll see them. there's a reason why political ads discuss medicare and such..
- unknown0
true, very true!!
