i agree with the fact theres more to life then fender.
there is also more to guitar playing than having an expensive guitar.
buy something under a couple of hundred dollars and you get what you pay for. everything else works, sounds good and is functional.
dont fall into the "ooooo check my fender" category.
i used to work beside two guys who got excited about expensive guitars. what a waste. stop wasting your time guys and play the fuckin' thing!!!A lot of my bass's have been Yamaha's and ive really liked them.
the bass ive got now is a light tan plani wood yamaha (dont ask me the model number) but ive had it for like 8 years. its a cracker and had a lot of compliments from musicians in other bands when i was gigging.
