his book was weak as well. i wasn't impressed. he came in as "I'm a hot illustrator"
so i showed him some illustration and rendering work we've done and how fast it was completed... and he almost fell over.
he's a one trick pony "fine artist" with absolutely no range. thats fine if you're really good at what you do. but, i cant imagine someone commissioning him for work because of his particular style. it was (to me) pretty soulless. And, he was too young to be so set in his ways. Only 8 months out of school.
