Why can't there just be a form of "tax returns" to drain Social Security in order to make amends for all those years of payment? Surely that's feasible, and even if SS is in debt, we know the government doesn't mind spending beyond its limits.
If they are going to privatize SS, they need to stop taking cuts out of my paycheck and return the savings from everyone who's already paid into the system.
