no doubt, solvent til 2042, I heard another report the other day saying that if this happens in 2006, it will be insolvent immediately.
Think about it, record numbers of retired people and no more money going into SS out of people's payroll checks.
Same thing with these health care savings accounts. OK, over a period of one year I save $3000 and I need surgery, that isn't even close to being enough money. But insurance companies will give you thousands and in some cases millions of dollars in coverage. How is it possible that my Health Care Savings account can compare?
