    Once the sensationalism and hype drop off the radar, then it's no longer newsworthy. Mad hype = ad revenue. Yesterday's news = page 12 underneath the 1/8 pg. BW flea market ad.

    The media drives me up the wall. I used to read the paper, and stay tuned into CNN all day long. The crap they churn out just got so boring, I soon started reading news from BBC and AfricaOnline before I just stopped "staying informed" by actively pursuing "news" altogether. One way or the other, the media will find a way to let me know what's going on so long as I continue to live my life on American soil and expose myself to newspapers, internet access, television radio or water cooler chat at work.
