css problem

    I'm trying something along the same lines with DIVs...two-column format...The left column needs to be a fixed width, but the right column needs to fill the rest of the screen.

    I set the left column for 100px and float left and the right column for 100% and also float left. In Safari and Firefox it works fine, but in IE6 PC it bumps the right column down below the left column. Any fixes for that?
