since its skater theme, maybe you should do some crazy shit and have people doing tricks off the type or something. Other than that, maybe the location should be in the gradient instead of at the bottom, kind of makes the eye jump around. You might want to trade the date and the sponsers since the text would flow better.
The green works cause its a flyer. Just a thought, but what if you made the anime character smaller, or lower the opacitity.
