yea no shit. i was rocking the first air jordans, black and blue, in 87, for skating. They were the shit. Lots of support, you could feel your board, a problem i had with the Converse Weapons, and they were very rugged. I think skating, like hiphop, is all about using what works, even if it was not made for it. Creative use of what available. Now i just wear chuck taylors cause the damn skate shoes look like shit and they cost way too much.
